The presence of COVID-19 in our province, city, and communities, has brought with it an increased sense of uncertainty for many. There have been disruptions to many aspects of our lives. As circumstances continue to change and evolve, it’s a lot.
In hopes of offering a glimmer of certainty in this time of uncertainty, I wanted to be transparent about how COVID-19 is impacting my delivery of counselling services. At this time, I am offering appointments to those located in the Calgary area via telepsychology (either phone or video conferencing, based on your preference) if you are looking to process through some of this, if you want to continue to work through the issues that brought you to counselling before all of this, or if you are craving some connection and support. Please know that should you wish to schedule at a time in the future when in-person appointments are more of a possibility, I welcome that too. All is welcomed.
Please know that I will continue to follow directives from local health bodies, as well as my licensing college related to COVID-19. I hope that you understand that this transition to telepsychology is intended to support us all in staying as healthy and as safe as possible, while continuing to receive needed support and connection in this time. Feel free to connect with me if you have any questions related to transitioning services to telepsychology, or if you have concerns related to finances.
My thoughts are with you and yours; hoping you are keeping well, staying healthy, and taking good care.
